The neck pickup is an Ibanez Infinity 1 humbucker. These pickups provide a range of tones suitable for various musical styles. The guitar features a master volume control and a 5-way lever pickup selector switch for accessing different pickup combinations.

Depending on the production year, the PGM30 may be equipped with either the Lo TRS II tremolo bridge (1993-2002) or the Edge Pro tremolo bridge (2003). The hardware color is Cosmo black, complemented by black knobs.

The Ibanez PGM30 offers a more accessible option for guitarists looking for a Paul Gilbert signature model. It provides reliable performance, versatile tones, and the features associated with the PGM series, making it an attractive choice for players seeking a high-quality instrument.

This guitar is in good working condition, there are some surface scratches here and there, some minor chips on the lower edge of the body and there's a paint chip on the lower cutaway horn, the majority of the lacquer has faded, the fade however is even across the surfaces. There are some minor signs of wear on the fretboard, this however is quite minor and the frets have plenty of life left in them. The action at the 12th fret is 1.5mm and the guitar plays great!
