Tokai Talbo (short for Tokai Aluminium Body) guitars were introduced in 1980 and feature a cast aluminium body with a chamber underneath the pickguard. These were known for having a crystal clear clean tone that resonates beautifully both acoustically and plugged-in. Rosewood board and a maple neck, loaded with a 5-way selector and HSS pickups, weighing in at 4.1kg. Single coils are clear as day but still warm enough they aren't harsh.
This particular Talbo is modded and has had the bridge pickup replaced with a Sound Gear Hexaphonic pickup. It has a normal jack for the two single coils and a 13-Pin Jack for the Hexaphonic pickup. This mod makes it one of a kind. Hexaphonic pickups are used via midi signals so you will have to have a guitar synth such as the Roland GR-20 to get the most out of it.
Although we have not been able to test the Hexaphonic pickup, we are confident it works due to the excellent condition of the guitar. In the unlikely event it doesn't work, we are happy to facilitate a return at our expense.

This guitar is in great condition with a blemish here and there, but nothing noticeable. Back plate missing. Frets have plenty of life left and it plays like a dream. Action at the 12th fret is 1.75mm.
