Kodaira AST-85  Classical Guitar MIJ

Condition:

Excellent a couple of very light marks as pictured.

The AST-85 features the same artistic three-peak headstock design as the AST-100, with sharp outer peaks and a rounded, prominent centre peak. A black-and-white decorative wood inlay is set between the headstock and the faceplate, prominently visible in the bevelled lower section of the slotted head.

The tuning machines are gold-finished Gotoh units with a simple plate design, lacking the crown-shaped ornament found on other models. The buttons are rectangular with rounded edges and a white pearl-style finish.

The binding and purfling match the headstock’s decorative wood in black and white, giving the guitar a cohesive aesthetic.

The rosette around the soundhole features a diamond pattern with black dots in the centre, bordered by colourful braided rings. This same diamond motif is echoed in the bridge’s tie block, creating a unified visual theme.
