Remo's Cattail mallet features a double-headed, versatile design. One side uses a 2” elongated, compressed foam tube, finished with a soft fabric cover, and the other end of the mallet features a soft Velcro fabric which can be played on all surfaces without damaging or marking drumheads. The Cattail double-headed mallet is ideal for small bass drums, and hand drums like Remo’s handheld Buffalo drums, frame drums, and drumsets for a softer sound.
