A beautiful vintage K.Yairi GF-500 Traditional Flamenco guitar made in 70's Japan. Made in the K.Yairi's Gifu factory which was renowned for producing high quality classical and steel string guitars. The model number was rubbed out so it was hard to find any info on this guitar. After some deep digging we found it was a GF-500.
The most traditional flamenco build K.Yairi ever did as you can see from the peg tuning heads and clear scratch plate. Sounds absolutely amazing, bright and snappy flamenco tone that cuts through like no other classical we have stocked. Looks like solid cedar on the top and solid back and sides, although we don't know what the tone wood is for the back and sides.
This guitar is in excellent condition. Plays extremely well, action at the 12th fret is 3.5mm. No signs of previous repair. Frets still have plenty of life left. Does not come with a case or bag.
