Signature Model for Takumi "Fire" Matsuda not much information could be found on this bass or artist as they were most likely only ever a domestic act and are now mainly a session musician this bass was likely made between 2003 at the high of "Fires" popularity in Japan and 2006 which is the last printing of this model in the Aria catalogs. The hipshot tuner is very cool and drops the low string down a whole step, it is optimized for E - D drops. The bass has a preamp and EQ controls on the front. The preamp and pickups require 18V, meaning both 9V batteries are required. This bass was one of the higher tier quality instruments that Aria produced at the time retailing for over $2000

This particular bass is in fantastic condition bit it does have some minor cosmetic issues, some light scratching on the edge of the back of the body, and a slight chip on the front edge near the binding (refer photos) this is a bit of a shame as the bass is in otherwise exceptional condition. The frets only show very minor signs of wear so fret life will not be an issue at all.
